Pink living room set – Use pink paint as the foundation of your theme, color scheme or general decoration plan. Create models, texture or other design elements by using pink paint and one color or contrast. Or, choose the furniture and other decorative items that play outside or complement the pink paint.
Include other colors along with the pink to paint patterns directly on the wall. White stripes or chocolate-colored circles, squares and rectangles can add the dimension and interest of the walls. Or, sponge darker shades of pink or purple on the walls. Paint the bottom of the wall in a darker shade of pink with the top and the ceiling in a pink lighter. Darker shapes, such as hearts, ribbons and bows, flowers or butterflies can work with the pink base as well.

Dark wood furniture will come off the lighter pink walls and lighter or white furniture will stand out when accompanied by dark pink or brighter walls. Your furniture should play in the general color scheme and the theme of the decoration of the room. A white sofa-bed and a dresser with a pink-and-white striped chair would work in a girl’s room with a pink butterfly theme. Deep espresso furniture in tones would work in a contemporary nursery or teenager’s bedroom with geometric shapes on the walls.
